Want to know why?

FUCKING STEEL BATTALION IS BACK! [http://kotaku.com/5639336/steel-battalion-triumphantly-returns-with-a-different-sort-of-custom-controller/gallery/]

And it has Kinect capability too. I know a lot of you won't care, but some people (like me), this is damn near the second coming of Christ.

I still have the first one with the controller. Even Steel Battalion for the 360 isn't worth the Kinect in my own opinion.

It's on my list of things to keep my eye out for, but in all likelihood I'll wait for someone to sell their Kinect after they're fed up with their 360 S breaking too much, and for more games to be released. It needs more than a dance game and a potentially good RTS to sell the system.

Wasn't Steel Battalion that game that erased your save data when you died? Or am I confusing it with something else?

Not particularly enthusiastic about it, but then again if Half Life 2 Episode 3 was exclusive to the 360+kinect I still wouldn't get it.

YOu're right, but you could prevent that by ejecting..from your mech not the disc.

I don't think Capcom got the message that Snake can and will destroy any bipedal tank the world tries to create.

Except that most of the tech Snake uses to do it doesn't exist in SB, and these tanks aren't
"high-tech"; they're basically Shermans and Panzers and Abrhams on legs.

Looks nice, piloting the Mech could be fun. Bit of a strange thing though:It's 2082 and soldiers are still using M16s.

What we know of the story so far is that its a divergent reality, kind of like Fallout. Ballistics still advanced as normal or a bit slower, and armored vehicle technology got crazy good, but computers as we know them today never really came around, and most modern technology they do still have is either well hidden/protected or destroyed.

Will it still have the massive controller? Because a buttonless Steel Battalion is like a point and click Minority Report. The cool controls are the best part.

Is it just me, or is that trailer just a single shade of brown?
So I wasn't the only one.

That whole trailer was coated in layers upon layers of gray, I couldn't tell what the hell was going on.

Naked Snake dealt with the Shagohod with C4, an RPG-7 and an M63.

Not the point however. I'd rather use a controller for Steel Battalion though.
