Kinect on two xboxes?

In my family we have six "gamers" and because of that we have two xboxs. And coincidentally the majority of the family wants to buy the kinect because it looks pretty sweet. Now my question is can we have one kinect and exchange it between the two xboxs, or is it set to only one xbox?

As far as i know they can be used between two xboxes. But why would you want to do such a thing?

All the data it records is stored on individual HDDs anyway (facial recognition, calibrations, etc.), so there shouldn't be any reason why you wouldn't be able to move it whenever you need to.
