Okay, you know those adverts that are on frequently after midnight? They usually feature three supposedly sexy girls (in actuality closely resembling reluctant European sex workers) in bar-skank attire, having far too much fun texting. Now those adverts suggest that you use their service to talk to "hot girls in your area" via text message... for a hefty fee of course.
I'm puzzled though.
These adverts are always geared towards blokes. So where do the women who return messages come from?! I've never seen a counterpart advert aimed at women. Are the women employed to send the texts in much the same way that big fat bored housewives man [woman] the phones of sex hotlines?!
Don't worry - I'm not quite lonely and depraved enough to go for this kind of crap!! I'm just curious as to how such a system operates.
