well, im fairly sure its undisputed common knowledge that the "best of you" AMV by Jihaku is the BEST AMV out there (from a technical standpoint of course), but what i want to know is if anyone knows of any other animes with cool features or excellent musicality or syncing or whatnot, i wanna see the cream of the crop

Insanity Beast was pretty good, I espescially liked the music. My only complain against it is that they went for coolness over any sort of deeper emotional depth.

Skittles was charming is a guilty pleasure sort of way.

I didn't like the "best of you" AMV. It yanked me out of the experience seeing the guy singing. Also, when I watch an AMV I want to see a unique perspective, a unique emotional message on the show I've already seen. Adding in lots of animes into a video ensures that no one will have seen or will like all the AMVs and most of the message will be lost.

If an AMV is *about* a show its whole point is to provide a unique perspective on the show in this way. If it is not about the show it does its own thing like the skittles AMV did.

"best of you" was just kind of left with nothing.

best one I ever saw was a Hellsing AMV set to Damien Marley's Confrontation, but I can't find it anywhere now. Dang, that one was ace.
