I almost dont want to buy this unless preowned just to spite Konami for this but I also want to show that I value Kojima's Magnam opus.

To all those who want to support Hideo Kojima, by playing his game, but don't want to just give Konami a free pass

Piracy is always an option, but by it's nature it's hidden from public view, that doesn't send any sort of public message at all.

The solution and one perfectly possible with the internet as an organizing tool.

Organise a public boycott of the official release day, no matter how much you may want the game.

Then all get it at a set later date, which can be a specific lower price point or after a set amount of time.
My best offer at the moment is some significan't date like Hideo Kojima's birthday or PT's removal date.

On that day you all get the game, as a show of support.
