KOTOR doing my head in

I installed KOTOR yesterday, it was working more or less fine (except for a small screen but aparently thats hard to fix) then being the genious I am I decided to patch it

which caused a problem with securom, Ive reinstalled it several times now and the effing thing wont launch, aparently it doesnt like ATI cards

but if it worked once why wont it work again? Im going to try one more time, and if it doesnt Im going to cry and put it next to beyond good and evil where it will haunt me for the rest of my days.....

so any help would be great

I dont know if it has anything to do with compatibility mode...it wouldnt lauch when I used that and I think I saved the settings or somthing, so Im going to try one more time

Is it against the rules to suggest a mod/crack to avoid issues like this in legally owned and purchased copies of games?
