KotOR II modding

Hey guys,

I'm pretty much a PC gaming virgin. I only ever played a game on console. However, I know that when playing KotOR 2 modding is essential to make the game as good as it should be, with mods such as the restored content mod etc.

Question is.. I've never modded a game before. Can anyone tell me how, specifically for KotOR 2 (I'm using a Mac), to mod this game? Do I just download the file and thats it, or copy the file into a folder, or some sort of weird PC technical thing..??

I'm new to this! Please help

Edit- scrap the Mac business.. Just realised you can only play KotOR 1 on a mac. Just standard Windows then.

i'm not sure how specifically to mod KOTOR2 but for most PC games you just have to make an override folder in the right place (the modding sites should have a tutorial for first-timers)
