For those of you who never had the chance to play Knights of the Old Republic, it's now on Steam. Just throwing that out there.

This is an interesting development in the case of the upcoming MMO The Old Republic. This might mean that the game might be on Steam as well. After all, WAR made an appearence on Steam. Perhaps TOR now has a good chance to as well.

Is Kotor2 on there, too? I never got around to playing that game.

Aw man, I'm not sure if to buy it. I really liked the game but I already have a couple of others I'm getting soon so I don't want to spend the money. I think it shall be put on my "to buy" list.

KOTOR is only 10 bucks on Steam. Hell, I bought it the moment I saw it. I was saving up for the upcoming timetraveling shooter Darkest of Days, but I know that my PC would be incomplete without KOTOR on it.

KOTOR 2 is not on there...yet. I bet that it will make an appearence in the future now though.

Heh, interesting. Too bad I already own the game. I have the urge to play it again now. For the 25th time.

Must...Buy...

I never got a chance with the Knights of the Old Republic games. And since I'm pinning all my hopes onn the MMO I should probably play the other Old Republic games.

Mine installed as well but when ever I play it the game crashes with a screaming noise that makes my ears bleed. So so sad. :(

great game, anyone who hasn't played this yet owes it to themselves before the technology becomes too outdated to enjoy

I really think that some company should use the Mass Effect engine and re-do KOTOR with no changers to gameplay or story line. It would be compatible with newer systems and would not crash so much.

I am looking forward to getting this again, I sold my xbox a while ago due to lack of use, and have missed this game since. Just waiting on my credit card to arrive, since some jerk stole my number and I'm waiting on the new one to come.

Just a warning to people - you need to download an unofficial patch to play the game if you're using a widescreen. Unless you want to see your character look remarkably chunky in 1024 x 768.

Here's the link: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/index.php/WSGF_Hacks_for_SW:KOTOR

I'm having trouble with mine as I've got a res that's bloody awkward to set with out another download (don't worry it's on that page) so you may have to look on the forums for help.

KOTOR II didn't work on my computer... Not sure weather I'm ready to repurchase on Steam and risk it.

I'll wait and see what the forums for it say after awhile.

I was able to get KotOR to run on my Windows 7 machine, but no luck so far with KotOR II. There was a lot of tampering I had to do. Though I don't exactly remember what I had to do anymore.
