Does anyone know if Knights of the old Republic is backwards compatible and if you can purchase it on live?
thanks
thanks
Not from what I can see. Out of the meagre 25 games that I can see on Xbox Originals | Title | All, there are no Star Wars games (KotOR or otherwise) within. There is Jade Empire though.megapenguinx said:If you buy it on Xbox Live, then yeah it's going to work on your 360.
EDIT: They are selling it on the marketplace now?
Oh I found the answer [http://forums.gameinformer.com/gi/board/message?board.id=microsoft&thread.id=151678] (sorry for the link to another forum).Amnestic said:Not from what I can see. I never played Jade Empire. I've heard good things about it, but what kind of combat system does it have?Amnestic said:Not from what I can see. An open combat system, it's a really good game thoughGodbutbetter said:I never played Jade Empire. I've heard good things about it, but what kind of combat system does it have?
What sort of question is this?Godbutbetter said:Ok, thanks but I have one last question; Should I get Fallout 3 instead?
Stop your whining and tell me what you would prefer.Abedeus said:What sort of question is this?Godbutbetter said:Ok, thanks but I have one last question; Should I get Fallout 3 instead?
"FPS + RPG or RPG + TPP?"
Orange or banana? Red or crimson? You can't compare games from different genres, and we're not ones to tell you this. You can watch gameplay videos, you know.
Why? Are we information units for you to press a button and then we spew our opinion like some automated jester, singing for your pleasure?Godbutbetter said:Stop your whining and tell me what you would prefer.Abedeus said:What sort of question is this?Godbutbetter said:Ok, thanks but I have one last question; Should I get Fallout 3 instead?

Plus; orange and crimson
Jesus, surely you have an opinion? Let me rephrase, if you had some spare cash, which of these games would you buy? Now pretty please with sugar on top, answer the goddamn questionAmnestic said:Why? I daresay good sir you could do with tuning up your attitude. Making demands of people in such a way doesn't sit well with a great number of members. Asking? No problem. Telling is a whole other ball game.
You can't compare Fallout 3, Jade Empire and KotOR because they're different games from different time periods using different technology in different genres with entirely different settings.
I've used this analogy before, but I shall do so again: It's like comparing an Apple and a car engine and wanting to know which has the best electrical conductivity underwater.
Shut up. You expect me to choose which game of a different genre I like more? Why not ask me if I like comedy shows or strategy games?Godbutbetter said:Stop your whining and tell me what you would prefer.Abedeus said:What sort of question is this?Godbutbetter said:Ok, thanks but I have one last question; Should I get Fallout 3 instead?

Dude, I get where you're coming from, but you can choose can't you? This question can be answered, you're just being stubborn. All I'm asking is; Which of these games would you buy if you absolutelu had to choose. Just look deep into your heart and you'll find the answer. Or don't and just say you don't care.Abedeus said:Shut up. You expect me to choose which game of a different genre I like more? Also, you are a rude jerkass and by saying "answer the goddamn question" you will never get an answer.
Thanks, but you actually need Live Gold to get the update? And a hardcopy is better, but I've none of the shops in my hometown still sell xbox-games. Btw, a new secondhand store opened here, I'll check that out. But thanks for the helpstabnex said:Goodbutbetter, sir, I have an answer. You see, I work in a video game store and am constantly assaulted with this question (though most are retarded varations of 'will my y system game work in my unrelated in any way z system?').
Check Dis [http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm] This is the list of original XBOX games that have patches available for backwards compatibility on the 360. A hard drive and an XBOX Live Gold account that is actively signed in is required for the patch to download/launch the game.
This method requires purchasing the game first and because of its continuing popularity and the fact a sequel in the form of an MMO is in development, it may be rather costly. But honestly, isn't a hard copy better than a flimsy digital one that can be erased remotely by a vindictive Microsoft employee you completely owned a Halo deathmatch?
