As I guess you have noticed KOTOR was reales on steam last week.
and now I am wondering, should I buy it. I have heard much good about it
but I want to hear from someone with experience, is it worth my while?
(also feel free to put random comments aslong they have somthing to do about kittens or waffles)

KOTOR is a fantastic game, especially if you're a Star Wars fan (But even if you aren't).

KotOR is a great game, but you have to like the d&d style combat.
The whole game is based on d&d and rather heavy on the conversation side so don't bother if you don't like talking.

KOTOR is one of BioWare's best known games (behind Baldur's Gate and Mass Effect, I'd say), and for good reason. There's also a reason so many people are still enamored by it all these years later. It's a better edition to the Star Wars franchise than the prequel trilogy was, and the writing team on the game pulled together some of the most memorable characters gaming has ever seen. Get it.

Get it. Also make sure you get your shit together when you hit tatooine. No spoilers but it is a huge desert and realising you forgot something on the other side is not fun.

You should definitely purchase KOTOR (so long as it's a decent price). KOTOR is arguably the best Star Wars game out there.

I only played KOTOR recently, within the last six months, and really enjoyed the experience, although there were many things that seemed sort of outdated. The story is really the best part of it, the combat might be the worst. Its really a credit to Bioware that the game can have lasting appeal even when some of its qualities, such as the graphics and level-design, no longer seem all that great.
