About six weeks ago I told you guys about how Kyoto animation, the fellows responsible for the wildly popular anime, 'The Melancholy Of Suzumiya Haruhi' have been a little bit naughty to their obsessive fanbase.

I told you about how they pretended their new series was a rerun of the old, then slipped new episodes into the middle of said rerun, ensuring that the only people to see them as they aired would be new fans, rather than the people waiting three years for the new series. All in all I found it quite amusing.

More importantly, I told you about how they had re-animated the same episode, with practically identical dialogue and storyline three times in a row. (the characters are trapped in a time loop only one apathetic character remembers) This also proved itself to be amusing, as pictures of Otaku's smashing up their shitty Haruhi figurines testified.

... Here's where I begin to waver...
It's still going on...

SEVEN WEEKS IN THIS FUCKING TIMELOOP! (alright stay calm)

Needless to say Kyoto have balls, a lot more than brains, I've never seen a company try so hard to troll and alienate their customers, it's actually beautiful, but they won't be selling any DVD's.

Just thought you guys might like to know.

Thoughts from anybody who's been following this?

That takes balls of steel to practically lay the same episodes over and over.

Come to think of it, the first season's episodes were completely out of order.

Sounds vaguely amusing. I'm still waiting for the novels to receive non-fan translations.

Should only be one more week of it, as it is called the ENdless Eight. But that's just speculation.

What, it's still going on? It's a good thing I don't really care for Haruhi. I was mildly interested though, I just happened to stumble upon a desperate fan's rant about this subject before checking it out. It made me laugh, then shrug, then laugh again.

Go go KyoAni.

Not quite confirmed, but I heard rumors that they might do 9 iterations, if not more. It sounds somewhat plausible, to be honest.

And as much as I absolutely love Haruhi I stopped watching after the fifth iteration. Figured it was pointless and instead I'm watching other anime series that aren't looping themselves.

Shh. Don't tell anyone I watch anime.

This crap pissed me off. I kept watching becasue I figured they would change things slowly, then after the third one it dawned on me they where just bing pricks to their fanbase and I quite watching. Someone tell me when this crap stops and maybe I will pick up from there.

Thanks, later.

I watched the series and found the main character Haruhi deeply annoying.

I was just curious to see what you were talking about.
So sorry for intruding with my non-fan attitude.
Also the timeloop is extremely annoying.
