I'd have to agree on this: ok, there are idiots in the game, but everyone I've heard on voice chat has been a good, mature player, and I've actually been using voice chat usage as an indication of player quality at times[Gavo said:

Funny thing is, I reckon Survival mode will be very similar to Call of Duty: World at War's hidden game, which in turn took a lot of ideas out of Left 4 Dead with the whole four player survival, revive your fallen teammates gameplay, shooting with pistol while down thing. I still haven't bought Left 4 Dead.
Sinply because I conciderin it to be wau too expensive for a game whose main portion is based on multiplayer.
The game is 50 friggin Euros on STEAM which to me is unaccetpable for a game where all the levels it can throw at us can be beaten in less than 3-4 hours.
Once the game drops in price I might concider it.

There's a Custom mode called "Mega Horde Mode" [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eyDBgy0fCA] where all you do is fight -literally- hundreds of zombies on the screen at once.Undeadpope said:

Edit: On Steam news it says very well "First DLC-Survival Pack-" and the only thing Valve is saying that will cost money is the Left 4 Dead Critics Choise Game Edition and if you have the original L4D you dont need to buy. Am I the only one who is a bit disappointed with this? Allow me to rephrase that a bit. Am I the only 360 owner who is a bit disappointed by this? OK I am not at all frustrated by the mod thing for the pc since that is a perk for almost any pc game. I was just hoping for a new map or sumthing. A new mode with no info is hardly something to get excited about. And being able to play all the maps in vs should have come right out of the box.
