Now, people enjoy a challenge sometimes, just like i do with Expert mode on L4D2, which is hard enough as is.
But when i beat Realism on Expert, i thought it was insanely unfair at times at what the A.I Director can do.
Its bad enough if people dont have mics, (good thing my team did), but the fact that even a smallest horde can stop you as far as the beggining of the safe room area is pretty ridiculous.
I know they went for someone harder than Expert, but there is such a thing as going past Fucking Difficult into, ''Im tearing my controller in half, hitting my xbox, and wanting to kill the population''
Has anyone beat it yet, or tried it even on expert yet and experienced a lot of problems progressing due to the difficulty?
(P.S. We Beat It On Hard Rain)

There's no difference between the ai in campaign or realism, zombies are more resistant to body shots though. I beat it on Dead Center and thought it was pretty fun I look forward to playing it more.

Edit: It's nice that they upped the difficulty on campaign expert as well, L4D's expert mode was a little easy.

Well, I'm going to come off frank.

I think that was for PC gamers, and people with artificial mechanical uber thumbs.

For me? I'm waiting for X-MAS. :D

I played it on parish, and damn it's hard. I can't tell you how many times a teammate shot me through a bush or something because he saw no outline and thought I was a zombie. Eventually we got it though, just took a while.

You do know realism isn't a difficulty, it's a mode right? It doesn't change what the director does outside of it's normal parameters. Realism only takes away certain advantages.

I put difficulty in the title to ask people if they thought if it was TOO DIFFICULT OR NOT.
I never said it was a difficulty to choose, maybe i just phrased it wrong.

My mistake. The way you had phrased your OP made it sound as if you thought it was a difficulty mode, mainly the "the things the AI direcotr would do" thing.

OT: No it's not too difficult, as long as you communicate well, you'll be fine.
