And why does she care? that's really my main point by that phrase, how can she fix a problem she hasn't experienced? it feels like a tacky grab for attention.
I'm not saying this isn't poorly thought out or a grab for attention or whatever (I have no idea either way since I don't watch MTV), but someone saying she cannot solve the problem, or at least attempt, because she isn't gay and in the army, is just flat out stupid. Plenty of people of different backgrounds can rally around a cause that may have no direct effect on them.
