Lamest Trophies/Achievements

there is a slew of WoW achievements that are just stupid. Like grinding a faction reputation to exalted that requires you to literally kill thousands upon thousands of low level dudes out on a stretch of beach somewhere.

not to mention the ones you get for logging in during a certain day, like when WoW was 5 years old. Sure give people a gift but to call it an "achievement" is kind of lame

Yeah the Anniversary ones are in the "Feats of Strength" category and worth zero points. This makes it even more lame when having incredibly rare mounts, or legendary weapons is also in the same category

They've made most of the faction ones easier now, there's not many that take many many hours of grinding any more, but they're out there.

I just got Borderlands a few days ago and did some co-op with friends and my first achievement came when we linked up and before we started to play, basically for gaming with some friends, I got an achievement.

My point being it took no effort to get, I wasn't going out of my way to get the achievement.

Soul Caibur 4 has one for making it past the title screen.

Are you sure you aren't thinking of some other game, because I've played Soul Calibur 4 several times when I borrowed it once from a friend. I got no such achievement, and it isn't even on the list of achievements when I look at my online profile.

Edit: Nevermind, I saw what somebody else said, it must be one of the "secret" achievements.

They?re all really lame and worthless.
You used to get arsenals and vehicles for finding all the ?hidden packages,? now all I get is some crappy achievement trophy. What the hell am I supposed to do with that?

Bulletwitch gives you an achievement for finishing the game on the hardest difficulty worth one gamerscore!!!!!!!!!!!
