I'm looking to purchase a rather decent laptop for college. I intend to use it for all the usual college stuff; wood processing, paintshop pro and flash animation. I've picked out a few that'd fit into my price range. It'd be great to hear some advice about whichever model is the most efficient from someone with prowess in this field of knowledge.

Personally I'd not get a DELL Inspiron or HP pavilion 6 Gens.

A few good brands you could look at are SONY VAIO (actually a Lappy model), MSI, ASUS and Toshiba.
