I just spilled a small amount of contact lens solution on one corner of the keyboard on 'my laptop (less than 1 cl). I quickly dried it up with a towel, but it seems some may have gotten in between the keys. Firstly one of my ctrl key stopped working. Now my keyboard's giving me weird symbols when I press other keys, and the other ctrl key seems to be on strike as well (it'll do weird things like react to ctrl+r, but not ctrl+t and the t key works just fine) despite being nowhere near the initial spill. This happened roughly 10 minutes ago, and I'm wondering what the best course of action is. If I leave it alone and let it dry on its own, what are the chances of it working the way it's supposed to?

Any tips on what to do?

EDIT: It's a HP G62 laptop with Windows Vista installed.

I think, as you say, letting it dry is the best thing you can do at the moment... 'scuse me for the ignorance, but what is contact lens solution made of? what does it do? If its mostly water and alcohol/ethanol then chances are it should work fine after it is dry. Incidentally, it's best to dry electronics at room temperature, NOT on a radiator; that can damage the chips inside if you're unlucky.

TL;DR version: Yes, let it dry, at room temperature.
