So I'm in looking for a new laptop and am having some troubles. I'm looking for a powerful laptop--not necessarily a gaming laptop, but one that should at least be able to run less resource intensive games well--and feel I have narrowed it down to the Alienware M14x and the XPS 15.
Alienware: http://www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-m14x-r2/pd.aspx
XPS: http://www.dell.com/us/p/xps-15-l521x/pd.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs

Thing is I'm having trouble pulling the plug between the two. I like the look of the XPS much more and it seems like more of an all around computer, while the Alienware has better optional specs for cheaper than the same specs on the XPS.

So, fellow Escapees, which would you get? I'm not super knowledgeable about computers so there may be some crucial difference I've missed. Or another brand altogether. Any advice is helpful and can be exchanged for 5 free internet points.

My price range is vague but around $2000 dollars, but preferably under, I guess.

Thanks
