I'm getting a laptop as a graduation present but I'm having a hard time deciding on what I'm getting since I have no idea what all these numbers mean but I've managed to narrow the choice down to two laptops:
Dell Inspiron 15
Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 processor
2.0GHz, 800MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache
4GB 800MHz DDR2 Ram
15.6" Widescreen WXGA (1366 x 768) TrueLife screen
1.3 megapixel webcam
256 MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics card
250GB 5.400rpm Serial ATA hard drive
8x DVD+/-RW
HP Pavilion dv5-1145
AMD Athlon X2 Duo Core QL-62 2,0GHz processor
15,4" WXGA High Definition BrightView screen
3 GB DDR2 RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 512MB graphics card
320GB SATA 5400rpm hard drive
LightScribe Super Multi DVD Writer (+/-R +/-RW) with Double Layer support
I think I got everything about them. They cost exactly the same and will be used mostly for University work and the occasional lan party.
