Lara Croft wtf?

I was looking at some vids on steam and noticed the lara croft: guardian of light trailer and after watching it all I can say is... its an effin dungeon crawler, like an old school one, top down and shit. Ive always had a massive weakness for those so this could be the first lara croft game I could actually enjoy, the trailer makes it look pretty good but just the fact they finally went from the 3rd person game play of old is confusing as hell since thats really all croft has ever done

thats what Im saying, Im just surprised as hell they are going that direction, Ill have to keep an eye on this and see how it turns out

I'm actually a bit of a fan of the Tomb Raider series and I'm fine with the franchise trying out new things, so long as they don't advertise it as a true continuation of the franchise anyway, which they aren't.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary was probably my most recent favorite by the way. Wish more franchise would go back and essentially redo the earlier games of the series, it was extremely well done but for a few annoying tidbits here and there, and those were negligible.

I've always been an absolute sucker for dungeon crawlers with guns (ie. Torchlight), so I can definitely see me getting this.

I havent played a lara croft game since the PS one games. I might try this. Could be an interesting change from the last few games which werent all that great

If it didn't have Lara Croft in it I would of thought it was an RTS with the huge areas and all.

Looks a bit different. Definitely feels like an RTS
