How would you feel if companies like Nintendo suddenly decided to re-release all their old consoles (For example the N64, PS1, etc.) along with their old games at incredibly cheap prices?

I for one would certainly feel relieved. At least then the industry can be honest with itself and just admit it's out of ideas rather than release the same old game and a flurry of clones insisting that they're "New".

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a hater. And you sir, are a hater.

Who the hell would even buy those new when you can get one for tens bucks used, and buy the games for five each.

Besides, Sony and Nintendo have already released most of their first gen games as DLC.

While your at it come up with a game design and let me know when you come up with something that's fun, original, & will sell well. Otherwise don't complain about something you know nothing about.

People who'd rather not use eBay or scour the mall for stores who have old games like that?

Really now? Where?

Were you trying to make a point or just taking a shot at me? Either way I fail to see what the fact that I'm not a game developer has to do anything.

I dislike when companies do this, expessally with games that tend to suck.
You have to admit it'd at least be better than what we already have. Instead of forking over 60 dollars for a game that could potentially suck and hundreds for a console that may or may not actually be worth it, you pay about 30 bucks for a console and 5 bucks for a game. All with the same if not better chances of finding a better game.

Do what I do and buy consoles towards the end of their relevance. That way you know what's available for it, and you know the consensus on most of the games, and the consoles and games themselves are cheaper.

I don't know if I can take you seriously with you asking that.

I bought and have:

NES:
Mario's 1 through 3, Bubble Bobble, and Punch-Out.

SNES: Street Fighter 2

N64: Star Fox 64

There are many many more on the Wii Virtual console market place.

And from what I understand, the PS3 has a similar market.
