yeah I've heard stories about customers in there...

my friend works in an office-depot store here, and told me once that he helped a lady pick a chair, while during that time she complained endlessly about the company. when someone helps a costumer purchase something, they put a sticker on the box to notify the boss, and that person get a small cut of the purchase, so when my friend put the sticker, she asked him what he was doing. after he said that it's to show who helped her, she said he didnt help her at all... my friend just laughed and tried to let it slide.
he told me that after that someone their said that she's a regular customer, and in the past one of the workers started arguing with her, so that makes the story even weirder...

point is, you're not alone in this shit, so your pain is being felt all over the world...

Oh I know that, I can still be mad when they get grabby though, or when I'm yelled at for not being able to do 4 people's jobs in a single shift.

personally I'm all admiration to anyone who could work with this...
I mean, I wont snap and yell at the customer, but I couldnt stand working while having people yelling at me for completely no reason...

EDIT: dont get me wrong, I'll be glad to hear an ex-felon has a manager-job, but it sounds like he isnt the most stable guy by your account

I have no idea of the details I just know he got fired from his last job for having sex with a minor in a public place.

Compounded with him closely watching bathroom visits and the backwards hug incident makes me really not like him very much.

He takes himself far too seriously, though that's not to say I don't find ways to subvert and demean his authority, they're just more subtle.

Him: "This doesn't look like grand opening to me."

Me: "Possibly because the store has been open for a while now...just saying."
