@Steeple: Luckily when I had surgery on my knee a few weeks ago they gave me a shot. Sadly I was awake during the surgery and they even asked me if I wanted to watch >.>
@brue: it's just a dislocated finger man, it'll be back to normal in about a week, so no worry...
and it wasnt very painful, not more then the average practice at least, so I didnt mind...
@staika: well, that's a bit different, since returning a dislocated finger to normal is slightly less painful then open surgery on a knee...
by the way, what happened to you anyway?

@Steeple: So you want to hear the hilarious story on how I tore the meniscus in my left knee do you. Well it's a shameful story but I shall indulge you.
So I was working out at the gym I go to and we were doing thrusters. A thruster is basically holding a bar (in my case it weighed 100 lbs) in front of your neck, do a squat and when you come back up lift the bar above your head. I sadly was not feeling too hot that morning and I was exhausted while doing them and I lost my balance and almost fell and I felt a pop on the outside of my left knee. It turned out I tore the meniscus in my left knee during the fall.
