It is frowned upon. I mean the OP will always come back to his/her thread until it has truly died. If the goal of the game is to have a winner then having the OP bump the thread all the time throws that off. Also, in the case of the newer last person to reply wins threads, the OP has a vested interest in the thread getting massive enough for the Inferno badge. It's not illegal but it seems more like badge farming than earning it when you are one of the main reasons your own thread keeps going. At least to me anyway.

Anyway, I'm not saying that CommissarOridium falls under this category. He's already got the badges, I'm sure of it. That and this thread, if we're honest, falls under the chatroom category like the bed thread. XD

I don't post here for the badges, for me this is just a fun thread to post in from time to time, when im not watching zero punctuation or saving the universe
