This is a weird idea I've come up with, and I'm not sure if I can make function in RP form. If it does get the go ahead, I won't get it going till I've got the time on my hands (probably not till after my exams in June). For this reason, I do not want character sheets or the like; I want thoughts and opinions, and ultimately enough input to decide whether this will work out better as an RP or as a novel written solely by myself
Summer's come again, and everything stops. Like the schools, the universities close down under the crushing heat, and so home come all the students. They've come back in search of chance to see their old friends and revel in the season of carelessness, but somehow, it's not the same. They are becoming adults now, despite how they crave the freedom of their fading childhood, and more than that, their relationships are strained by divisions opened by the time apart, and events they struggle to recall.
And to top it all off, there was that thing. It affected everyone, but no one seems to recall it the same way, and no one wants to talk about it. But the signs are there in the way they act, and at some point things will boil over...
Firstly, I'm not going to define what happened last summer. It will be up to the players each to have their own idea of what occurred, but no one will want to come straight out with their version. the drama should stem from the arguments when non of you can agree.
You may have had, or think you had, any number of interactions or relationships with other players and NPCs, but bear in mind that they may not agree. Equally, you'll need to be aware of what other people are hinting, because things will really flourish when you being to cooperatively fabricate a past between yourselves.
The only limit I will put o it will be that there was one thing that happened, and it was big. It touched everyone in town, even if not everyone knew the whole story, and it caused people massive stresses and quarrels.

Thoughts, anyone?
