Ever had something to say about a game (bad or otherwise) but felt like you missed the boat?
Then give it your all and rant your heart out in this thread.

Anyhow here I go:

Spore- A unique if somewhat bland experience, it doesn't really feel like the game has any soul in some points. While we were shown a unique and wonderful world in which we would slowly advance through sentience we ended up with : Pac-man V2.0, a nest-gang war, a watered down RTS suprisingly enough, with the most emphasis on being able to take a peaceful stand as well as a violent one I've seen from many professional RTS's, Civilzation if you could just buy everything and finally a space stage that thoroughly pissed me off through repetiveness and the fact the "big, bad" Grox were actually just cute little cyborg imps with foul mouths, I'm mostly pissed off at the last point because it takes forever to get there only so you can be annoyed that the beings guarding the "secret" at the center of the galaxy look like they just came out of a McDonald's Happy Meal.

Zelda: You bore me. I will try to beat you, but I cannot help but fall asleep. Stop being boring. I'm playing as a man(?) with a sword. LET ME FUCKING STAB THINGS AND STOP PUTTING ME THROUGH THESE TRIVIAL DUNGEONS. I DID NOT BUY A FANTASY GAME FOR A MENTAL CHALLENGE. IF I WANT A PUZZLE, I WILL PLAY SOME MOTHERFUCKING TETRIS.

Why did not Ken Williams, head of Sierra, the premiere Adventure gaming company of the 80s/early 90s, gag and beat the stupid out of his bloody wife, Roberta, instead of letting her destroy adventure gaming through terminal mediocrity?

End War, not an RTS thanks.

Fable 2- I cannot put my finger on why I hate this game, probably it's short main quest, it has gotten better with the expansion, I mean when do you have a sword era without armor? (please do not correct me let me have my fantasy), by the way, the addition of all the Halo bullshit is not necessairy(new DLC lets you get the Assault Rifle).

Halo 3 ODST: Not surprised but this game is not needed to expand the campaign when graphic novels or books could do it.

Halo Wars: It is extremely difficult to like an RTS with only 2 playable races.

Star Trek Online: Yeah, I don't know about this, I don't see the appeal, and I am a Trekkie.

This bit confused me, Assault rifles in the early Enlightenment?

World of Warcraft- Although you remain as one of my favourite games I still have to ask why the hell did you try to force + spirit on all the classes that don't need it? (Warlocks,Priests, Mages) and when the hell am I going to get an In-flight movie?

If that involves the elimination of everyone on this planet sorely afflicted with terminal stupidity, then I fully support your endeavours.

Gears of War 1: To me all it was hide behind cover, pop up,shot, go back behind cover. This happened for the first two chapters, it may get better further in the campgain but I was already bored. In the little bit of multiplayer I played it was the people with shotgun or sniper that won. I was bored of it just from playing it at a friend's house.

I wouldn't fancy your chances, as far as I know they go on and on about the cover combat system.

I also dislike the combat cover system, it makes good for multiplayer but when i play a single player campaign i like pound through my enemies with a fury and head explosions. Not hiding behind a wall and hoping they shot shooting sometime soon.

Again it all has to do with "realism" in games and the fact that in a real life war firing from cover and praying you hit is about the only way to get it done.

Me too. I would have been ok with it if not for the fact that everything was the same shade of grey, but as it was I couldn't even find any of the enemies - and even worse, the enemies looked the same as the allies! I played both solo and co-op, and it was unenjoyable either way.

By the sounds of it there's a lot of hate with GoW if so the how did it become so massive?
