I'm pretty sure you can't be arrested as a minor for doing something without any intent of distribution.Azuaron said:So... being 17, is he getting arrested for the creation and distribution of child pornography?

Oh, you can. He's exploiting a minor (himself) and he may be sued as an adult, because of the nature of his crime. It wouldn't be the first time. Younger kids have been sued and registered as sex offenders for having naked pictures of themselves and sending them to girlfriends/boyfriends. It doesn't matter to the law that the perpetrator of the crime is also the victim or that the same person is seen as both an adult (as the defender) and as a minor (as the victim). If he gets sued he may someday join the numbers of people killed by vigilantes, because all his neighbors will be notified of his crime being exploiting a minor and making child pornography. Some US laws really need changing.Ferisar said:I'm pretty sure you can't be arrested as a minor for doing something without any intent of distribution.Azuaron said:So... being 17, is he getting arrested for the creation and distribution of child pornography?
People being daft enough to livestream themselves watching porn may not be news, but it's pretty hilarious.5ilver said:Apparently people watching porn counts as news these days >.>

While he is streaming, he could argue that there was no intent to distribute, which is the key element here. He thought the streaming had been turned off. It would all depend on the quality of lawyer involved if it went to trial.DonTsetsi said:Oh, you can.
