I'm currently learning Japanese (purely because Japan is awesome!) and am making slow and steady progress but could really use some tips from any bilingual Escapees, any programs you may have used or any study tips would be much appreciated

Try to integrate the language into your life as much as possible. If you see water, don't just think water, think of the Japanese word for water, etc. Do as much to take the language from your study time to other times.

Don't bother. XD

Nah seriously, Japanese is awesome. do what Griphphin said and try to intergrate it into your life, or better yet, have a phrase-book at your toilet, I learnt fairly good french from reading a french book every time I had to drop some bombs, over the course of about two months I could speak decent french (i.e I could actually put sentances together) so give it a try.

And yes I am completely serious about it.
