basicaly every level in "I wanna be the guy:the movie:the game".I would always beat something then get killed by taking a wrong step<and being rapped by some unforeseeable object it suckssss
The second level on Primal. The one that was pretty much entirely water with nasty fish enemies and dark scary corners, deep water and that badass boss. I friggin' hate fish and deep water. I always wanted to complete that game again after I deleted the save but that water level put me right off it. Shame cuz it was an awesome game. If you've never played it and still only have a PS2, you should totally get it.
Same thing has happened with Half Life. Really wanna complete it again but I can't bring my self to fight those giant fish.

The chariot races in Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. The game could do very well without those sequences. They just seem...tacky, I think, would be the best word. Like they had been cobbled together late one night after an order from the producer and the developers were too tired, lazy and drunk to care about the game any more and then just threw them in as completely abitrary bits of the game.
The majority of Splinter Cell: Double Agent. I swear to gods, if I have to play that game again...
The meat circus from Psychonauts was already mentioned, but the portion where you have to defend Little Oly from the frankenrabbits while he mindlessly chases a bunny that his legs are too short for him to possibly catch deserves special recognition. The annoying pitch of his voice as he cries for help only adds to the frustration.
That and "Cortana" on Halo 3, which is easy to get lost in and has the most of those moments where Cortana or Gravemind slow down your movement and yell at you.

Cortana!!!!! AUghhhhh!!! 1st time playing it I was all, eww eww eww I don't wanna be here. WTF! Sniper Flood! OMG! Tank Flood! What do these blisters do? AUHHHH! Run Away! Run Away!
also, in Metroid: Zero Misson when you lose your powersuit and have to run for your life at every enemy.

Original Halo: The Library - Grind + Muddy Visuals + The Flood (which I've always called the "Jiffy Pop" monsters) = a long, boring pain in the ass.
Some of the stages in Super Mario Sunshine where you lose FLUDD. Really, I don't believe I've ever cursed a group of people more than the designers of that game...
My least favorite? Hands down- Cortana from Halo 3. That mission annoyed me so much in the fact that its easy to get lost, easy to get mobbed, and all around ANNOYING.

I also hate those maze levels where you walk in the door and come out of another in the same hall but you have to do them in a special order but you really have no hints or whatever.
I also hate auto-scrolling levels there is one in yoshi's island on the snes... in the last world... It keeps me from beating the game.. I already completed the rest with 100 points... "Damn you auto scrollin" *waves his fist*
