Fallout 3.

I love the game. So why do you not let me keep playing it? That's the best part of Oblivion, in my mind...allowing you to continue after the main storyline is complete. WHY can't the Supermutant henchman, who is IMMUNE to radiation, push the damn buttons?

Oh well, at least I can reload and continue from before the mission.

You can never play after finishing a Fallout game. Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tatics, and Fallout 3. There is mulitiple endings. It just wouldn't work.

Yeah, so is the idea. I played very little of the first two, however. My thoughts are based on it coming from Bethesda, and how Oblivion was managed.

The Ending of Breath of fire one. Final boss a little girl, the ending just being your team saying good work, and it ends up you didn't actually kill the little girl.

Fable II and Fallout III.

Fable II was unsatisfying because the bad guy wasn't given what he deserved.
Fallout III because it was unsatisfying for the amount of work I put into it, just to get that... montage. And not even the montage. Watch spoony's reveiw of Fallout 3, he felt the same way I did. before the end, you have a choice, but it's not a choice, even though the other member of your party could do it and not get dead. The hell with my destiny, write the entire story, with an ending, before you write yourself into a corner.

Red Steel, the final "boss" is just like every other sword fight in the game. Actually the game is basicly the same all the way through, and really not that good.

Fear 2's ending was incredibly easy and didn't particularly do anything, other than letting you know that Aristide was dead by killing her in front of you like everybody else.

Legendary's was pretty bad too. I mean, yay, you kill the bad guy, and suddenly your friends are all "sure, we could ask you nicely to take the weird thing off your hand, but a proper dramatic ending would require us to suddenly betray you, which is resolved by a cut scene immediately after!"

Half Life 2's was disappointing because there was no big boss; 'cept maybe you. I mean, you didn't really need to do anything to beat it, because you'd been given the godweapon. Even on hard there's no challenge! Had the G-Man not shown up, I wouldn't have been able to stand it at all.

On the flip side, people complain too much about Halo 2's ending. It builds up perfectly to the next game (because, by this time, they knew there was a market for Halo sequels) and ends the way every single #2-in-a-trilogy-story ends: on a cliffhanger. Things are just hell for our heroes with only a glimmer of hope in the distance.

Actually i change mine to braid that xbox live game i spent 5 hours playing through the game not understanding the story at all and then the end game sequence i was trying to dig deep into my philosophical self and understand it and just when i thought i did more story the completly not only left me in the dark beat me upside the head till i was unconcious in a room with no windows the lights turned off at night during an eclipse on the edge of the abysss........no i don't think i can get bigger then that...oh and satan holding a black perm. ink marker
Braids ending was one of the best ive ever seen. People complain for not understanding the story in braid, because all of those books read like surreal ramblings and are very obscure regarding their real meaning, its supposed to be open to interpretation.

The worst ending ive seen is Links Awakening. I loved that game until the ending, what a kick in the nads to know all that youve done was in vain.

Don't tell me you actually played that game? Or did you just see the ending from the AVGN review? But anyways, it does seem like a sucky ending.
