I can't believe they passed up the chance to have a achievement related to a burning zombie and the frying pan, I mean it was almost perfect to have one called "out of the frying pan and into the fire."

I just though nobody cared, like the Modern Warfare 2 achievements that have been for a while.

Thing is, people care about this game. MW2 is just another war game to add to the 140+ that are already out there.

Sure did! This game has caused more controversy than MW2, there is more advertising about it. There are a million reasons why L4D2 is a more important game than MW2. Plus, like I said there are way too many war games that are a cut/copy of each other.

I don't play XBL, so I won't know. Now, I know that when it gets released that people are going to go ape-crazy for it, but that's only until the next game comes out. Play MW2, take notes and tell me that MW2 isn't the same as the rest of the war games that's out there.

Is one of them going to be like a Crash Course level where you can get through a versus match in less than 30 minutes, because thats what i believe the mall one is going to be like, just a short campaign designed for versus.

Only two parts of your reply interest me.

Part 1- ..you severely underestimate multiplayer.

Because, Halo 3 sure as hell died out when a couple other games came out.

Part 2- Well, war is one concept, but then again, so is shooting zombies.

WWII= Shoot Nazi to win war.

Modern= Shoot terrorist to win war.

Future= Shoot alien to win war.

Now Left for Dead?

Zombie Game= Shoot zombie to survive.

You tell me that this is different than any other zombie game concept. Don't bother saying "They changed the gameplay, there are different modes, different enemies, different weapons, better graphics, different story, ect.." Speaking as if all war games have absolutely none of the features.

Granted, many war games based on true events have many remakes, still doesn't make the entire genre the same.

Actually, regardless of how many games that are made from that genre, time period, or series, they aren't the same.

In Left 4 Dead 1, on No Mercy 3, there's a small shop you come through right near the start, and if you look up you can see that it's cal;ed "Burger Tank..." TRY IT AND SEE!

It was more the idea of taking down a Tank with melee weapons. As far as I can tell, longer range, more damage, knockdown and speed sort of puts that to shame.

This achievement will be near impossible, of course. You ever tried hitting a tank inside L4D? You hit it once, and hope it goes away from your incapped teammate and doesn't swing around and hit you! Of course, we don't know what all the melee weps are, so we don't know whether it would be as impossible as not killing a special infected through the whole game or extremely easy.

It worked in 'Diary of the Dead' so I can't see any reason why not.

From videos I've seen, the TANK BURGER achievement won't be too hard; I seem to remember a tank taking two hits from a melee weapon and a single shotgun blast before it died. Melee weapons deal heavy damage to special infected.. which is kind of strange..

As for Moustachio, I'll wager he'll be a sort of strong man at the carnival, and probably has some sort of cresendo-event type thing related to him. Who knows..

My only concern is that Valve might make the game too gimmick-y for my taste. The emphasis should be on the co-op gameplay against the horde. But we'll see what happens. I, for one, am super excited for november 17th!
