Roughly what I said, but he just won't listen.Terminate421 said:World of warcraft is better at activity going on involving players
Left 4 Dead 2's detail takes the cake in graphics though. Plus its better as a game.
Not talkin' about which one has a more interesting style, because personally I'd say that's a tie simply due to the vast difference in style making it impossible to compare.Novskij said:L4D2 has a very boring style to its graphics, its very plain and bland.
WoW is colourful and stylized, so i think your friend is right.
WoW graphics have better design than Left For Dead 2.
Just because they're revamping doesn't mean that it'll be better. I'd hold off on that call until it actually comes out.strum4h said:They are trying to completely revamp everything in cataclysm. So I would have to go with l4d now and when cata comes out WoW.

all that means is that the wow engine is becoming less and less optimized for use, its easy to have a rather ugly and low poly game run like shit even on a really powerful comp, if its not optimized right, really if wow gets slow its probably because the devs are either pushing the engine to do things its not meant to (I remember the slowdowns during the sprinkler things in.... blackwings lair?) or its a badly coded gameciortas1 said:On that you're wrong though. Left 4 Dead 2 still runs on the Steam Engine doesn't it? Last I checked, the Steam Engine has been tweaked over the course of time, but overall it is still a decade old engine.poiumty said:Considering WoW uses a decade-old engine, it'll be safe to say that comparison with any current gen game is just unfair.
Just want to say that the source engine is a continually evolving engine that gets optimized all the time and incorporates all sorts of nice modern advancements.WoW however can't due to the engine's limitations and the number of hardware they have to support.maddawg IAJI said:Left 4 Dead 2 still runs on the Steam Engine doesn't it? As for Graphics, my vote goes to World of Warcraft. Just look at the Outlands or Northrend worlds, they look gorgeous.
