It comes out today, ive looked everywhere and i cant find out what time?

I think you had to preorder to get to play the demo early, the public demo might come out later.

I've got it pre-loaded (because I pre-bought the game on steam) but it hasn't unlocked yet.

If you preordered L4D2 through Gamestop or Steam, you should have an email from Gamestop or Steam preinstalling the demo sometime last night. The game can't be played until 11am PST / 2pm EST.

If you did not preorder L4D2, you still have a week before you can get the demo.

The preordered version of l4d2 comes with an early access demo that comes out somtime today on the 27th of october

The Public l4d2 demo comes out in a few weeks time.. Apparently

I don't think so but Steams been saying 27th for while now. Anywas I don't have to look for what time it is when I see my friends playing it I'll know it's time. Mines preloaded and waiting so I'm good to go.

This morning was terrible. It took me 2 hours to get Steam to finally let me download the demo, and now I play the waiting game.

I only brought the game this morning so had to preload it about 10 am and took me till 12 to start downloading.

Ah, poor you. Yeah, Steam gets crazy near big releases - why Valve don't put on extra servers around these times is beyond me. Its not like they can't afford it, heh.
