I believe something similar of this have been done, except it wasn't about Left 4 Dead 3.
Well, for one, they'd have to put up three fingers instead of two, and it must be the final because how are you going to put up four fingers in the air to indicate it's the fourth, when it was in Left 4 Dead 1?
I can imagine it would be in Europe, because all the good parts of America has been drained out of ideas.
Also, flamethrowers. It'd be very rare, but you could use propane tanks to fill it up.
For boss infected, probably someone who can fly like an Pterodactyl and pick up survivors.
Thing is, as soon as they carry them, they'd go 70% slower and go slowly up into the air.
Also, they would have a distinctive scream at all times except when flying, and when they are flying they'd be easy to spot.

I'd be against L4D3 because Valve promised regular patching and updates but for the sake of creativity:
Screamer: Valve made one similar to this in L4D1 but it was never used instead its power was given to the Boomer. This isn't what I'm talking about. This screamer is roughly a weaker version of the witch. She can run, jump, and use melee like other special infected but her ability is to wail and scream near the survivors and cause their vision to blur and their controls to momentarily lock up. Much like a flash bang. During this time the other infected hear the screamer and make a mad dash for the survivors.
Thats a rough ten second idea.

A drunkard of the highest calibre during life, in infection the Booze Zombie is a dangerous foe indeed.
All of that alcohol seems to have caused him to become quite flamable, guns set him on fire and annoying him causes him to combust as well, at close range he tries to beat people to death with a bottle he refuses to let go of and anyone he hold onto or makes contact with will take fire damage.
For all intents and purposes, the Booze Zombie is a walking molotov.

I think they should include zombies with blades attached to their wrists, and spider zombies, and zombies that scream, and cloaking zombies, and zombies with chainsaws, and this guy:
Also instead of being lame survivors, you should be the SAS. And instead of scrounging for guns, you should have an equipment-buy system like Counterstrike.
*cough* Sorry. I liked Killing Floor better than Left 4 Dead. But if I was gonna add a zombie type for Left 7 Dead or whatever, it'd be zombie dogs. Everyone loves zombie dogs.

Is it just me or does anyone else here FUCKING HATE JOCKEYS!!? Seriously, they're my only gripe with L4D2. Aside from that, just bring out a non censored version here in Australia and I'll be happy.
I would be against L4d3 to be honest...... but if I had to come up with an idea for new special infected ( that is if I was under gun point), I would go with, some sorta animal, zombie dog or something, or maybe the screamer, kinda like the siren in killing floor.
And they would always burst out of windows. even when there isn't a wall, just a low window fram and you know dsogs are going to spawn.Canus said:

They should introduce a zombified Gordon Freeman, and he can be called the "scientist" - I don't know what he'd do exactly, but it'd have to involve a crowbar.
