If you are going to survive, you'd best look after your groups welfare and your own.

Besides, it's not like that path the survivors are taking is an official check point destination/route for ALL survivors in the CITY. You can't even know if anyone will even be in the city in the first place.

Why argue the logic of all this when the helicopter from no mercy, you know, the one that flies right by you when you're on that roof, tells you to go all the way to mercy hospital to pick your asses up?
