There has to be hundreds of hospitals named Mercy Hospital or atleast Our Mother of Mercy Hospital, this one just happens to have a convienient way for idiots to act stupid.
I think I saw a thread about it yesterday. I have to say, some of those reviews were pretty damn funny.
I can think of at least four Mercy Hospitals (in the US and UK alone) and this is a problem they used to have when ER was broadcast years ago, and "County Hospital" was flooded with patients because "Mercy" had shut down (I think that was the storyline, anyway)dnaloiram said:
Idiotic people actually organised and staged a demonstration outside the real hospital in Chicago about it... on the flip side though, a couple of them were sectioned in the hospital, due to them not being able to separate the real world from a fictional one. Go figure!!!
As for the phoney 'L4D' reviews, it kind of makes me angry, to be honest - yes, to the people writing them, it's just a bit of fun, but do you not think people actually wanting to see hospital reviews would appreciate having to read/scroll through tons of spammy crap... and I'll bet the hospital administrators have better things to do than sift through the same spam, and delete the junk.
