So my steam is screwing up... again.. and now i'm left with multiple different errors.

firstly, when i try to start up Garry's Mod, it will start up, then go to the in-game loading screen... then thats it, it just sits there forever.

secondly, when i try to start up L4D2, it comes up with a launcher error saying "Failed to load the launcher DLL: The specified module could not be found" and i have no idea what that means.

thridly, when i try to start up TF2, it will instantly go to the "servers are to busy to handle your request" even though this doesn't happen for any other game. And when it doesn't come up with that message, it will just stay at the "Preparing to launch Team Fortress 2" tab forever. This also happens to Alien Swarm.

If anyone knows anyway to fix any of these, It would be very appreciated.

I had that preparing to launch and a simple cancel then relaunch fixed it for me. l4D2 I cannot help you with. Garrys mod did that to me before I cleaned out my addons.

that usually happens to me right after an update.. the servers get too busy trying to update people that they can't run the games (which SUCKS)

All I can think of is wait until the steam servers cool down, or re-install them.

Maybe, if you have the patience, delete local files and re-download again. The download may have had errors or something.
Similarly, you can check the local cache or integrity of files, or something (I'm too lazy to boot up Steam and check), that can sometimes resolve problems.
If you are still having problems and don't think it's the fault of everyone trying to save Bill then send Steam an email. They have a brilliant help team, I've had help from them before and they were very helpful and friendly.
Hope this helps!

Check the Steam forums. Admittedly, I couldn't find any solutions to my own problems, but they all seem to know what they're talking about.
Can't help you myself, I'm afraid. Never had any of those problems.
