So I was watching my friend play hl2 for about the fifth time when he got the the bit at the start where you are lead through a corridor by a metro cop for "questioning". And it occurred to me that this whole place could very well be a combine brothel.
Think about it, the cop closing the shutter on the door to interrogate his suspect could be him closing the shutter so that people cannot look in on them. And when the metro cop (who turns out to be Barney in the disguise of a combine prostitute- I mean metro cop) says he needs a little privacy for this... well you see what I mean.

Any other examples of reading a video game situation another way?
