i want to know if i still get the achievement for completing swamp fever if i resume from the plantation house? im asking this because im doing it on advanced and there are three tanks every time, but every time i give it another go i feel i have to start from the beggining in case i dont get the achievement.... help please?

im pretty sure you do. i always got mine from start to finish, but i am pretty dam sure you do if you happen to jump in at the last part and win.

I think you need to complete the entire campaign all together.

You have to do the entire campaign, I'm afraid. Try to get a split screen co-op buddy if you're trying advanced/expert, though even that will still be extremely difficult.

what about any tips on surviving ? are there any spots that the tank cant get you from?

I'm not entirely sure on this but, if you're desperate, I think doing the campaign on Easy then changing it to Advanced at the finale would still count.
Like I said, not sure if it works, but I read it somewhere on a trick to doing the campaigns on Expert. I'm crap at Left 4 Dead, so I've never been able to finish a finale on Expert to confirm it.

I think the switching difficulty worked on L4D but not on L4D2, but I'm not sure. Either way there are pretty easy ways to beat any of the campaigns. Check a few vids on youtube then try again.

I'd play it on Easy, then it should be a (relative) breeze.

Although your really should do everything in your power to get online, it's where all the fun is at.

I would counter with:

Boomer Bile.

Sod killing those tanks on your own, get the Horde to dish them some damage as well. Also, OP, yeah you have to do the campaign start to finish. Try getting a mate to split-screen it with you like Doclector suggested, that's probably gonna be your best bet.
