i enjoyed the game but it was too, i dont know, bright and happy. the boat and the sea were great aspects of the entire wind waker series, but they poured too much into it. the dungeons left alot to be desired

Personally I loved this game. The whole gimic of being on a boat may put some people off but for me, it just brought out the sense of adventure in the game. I wasted hours when i got the game just sailing the wide open ocean.

if not for the sailing becoming a bit of a chore when searching for all the heart pieces, this would be my favourite Zelda game in the entire franchise. I liked the new look, and the story was a neat twist to include Hyrule. The game itself looked great, as well as the entire aspect of fighting becoming more than just chopping(counter moves were a great inclusion). People that DIDN'T play the game out and returned it, its too bad, because you missed out.

I really liked it. I was kinda upset about the graphics at first, but they worked pretty well, it just wasn't zelda.
But overall i found the game very enjoyable.
The whole sea/boat thing didn't change the whole game, but added a new interesting twist, as opposed to just doing the same game over again, and it was a very brilliant idea

i'm pretty sure anything legend of zelda related is very nintendo exclusive, unless there's emulators for the PC somewhere... think you can play some of the older games in the PC actually

what?? i know it has nothing to do with the topic, but OOT has been voted as 1# game of all time by GT.

i loved it, having to sail everywhere could get a little tedious if you have to go all the way across the map (i didnt get the power of the cyclones till near the very end so i couldnt teleport). Other than that i have no complaints. The gameplay was a lot of fun and the graphics were a nice break from everyone trying to be more "realistic" at the time.

Also, this was the game that made me stop trying to put all of the LoZ's in a timeline. screw that

I liked it. Athough searching for the triforce fragments got a bit dull after a while, I loved the rest of the game. The cartoony style was charming, I especially liked the megaton hammer ^^

I agree with Smash_Jesus on this one, anyone who have not played it to the end missed out on something great.

Either way, it's a Nintendo franchise. Unlike most, they don't share at all...

Anyway, OT, to many of my friends' surprise, Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game of all time.

The graphics, characters, dungeons, boss battles, story... everything, IMO, kicks Twilight Princess's overhyped ass.

I hated the boating part, which was most of the game. Being forced to use a poorly controllable boat is not fun, same with the stupid horse in TP, OoT, at least with the horse there was only a few parts.

I got to the part in WW ware you are supposed to blindly boat around to fish up the triforce at that point I said fuck you game, and turned it off to never play it again

it was a good game. the cell shaded style didn't do it any favors and it was a bit too easy and the amount of sailing...i think we've all had that thought. definitely didn't deserve the 10/10 it got from pretty much every review. i'd give it an 8 at a push

It was alright, I feel this game was made in sheer desperation to get people back onto the zelda series.

Everything was to bright and weird, Too much water and playful bosses.

It was a good Zelda game, typical of the series, merely presented in an original and vibrant, but somewhat stupid way. But Ive always prided myself on believing gameplay is more important to me than graphics, and I guess its true, because I found much to enjoy in Wind Waker.

Of course, Ive grown bored of the Zelda series on the whole, so I guess its not so important anymore.

The only thing I didn't like about that game was that it was a little on the easy side.
I was able to get through the whole game without dieing once the first time I played through it, which up until then had never happened before.

But other than that, I really enjoyed it.
art style, music and everything.

And I can remember how surprised I was at how many there where out there that hated this game for its graphic style.
