Legendary Hunting

Howdy Ya'll,
I've been recently getting into Pokemon, having never been able to actually get my own copies of the games til now (I've got X/Y and caught all the legendaries) and what the deal is in terms of capturing Entei and company in Soul Silver? I'm also wondering what other legendaries are still obtainable from HeartGold, Soul Silver, Pearl, Diamond, Platinum, Black/White, and Black/White 2, now that Wi-fi has been disabled for all NDS games.

That said, finding brand new copies of these games is both hard and expensive HeartGold set me back at least 200 factory sealed.

So my question is, What legendaries are currently still catchable within the NDS games, and what method can you move them into Black/White for transfer? or do you just have to do manual trading?

The "Event only" legendries are only listed as so if there is no other way of getting them offline in a main-series game. Hope this helps!

Since Aerosteam answered the main question,(very well I might add ) you can transfer Pokemon from the 4th gen by going to a lab in the 5th gen games accessible after you beat the main game. It's on the route to the left of Black City or White Forest depending on the game, and you can transfer six 4th gen Pokemon at a time. The game will tell you how to do it, but you must have two DS systems or at least one DS and one 3DS/2DS to do it yourself.

You exceeded my basic question and answered it exceptionally. Thanks so much for the help!!! I appreciate it!! I should be able to finish the dex now in X/Y now. It cuts through a surprising amount of stuff going trough the overly complex wiki of serebii (which is still amazing in its own right).

Yeah, I had a feeling there was a system they put in place. I've got my old Nintendo DS Lite, so I can do the transfers into Black and then do the poke bank trick.
I guess the only thing i need to do from here now is finish aquiring the three remaining DS games P/D/Plat and get the respective counterparts of White and Black 2, and it'll be happy legendary hunting!
