So this is what Blizzard decided to spend it's giant stockpile of money on... More WoW crap when they could have created the most innovative and original game of this upcoming decade...

I have been a fan of Blizzards work since I was in middle school and had made very bad hairstyle choices... As of late, all I'm seeing is disappointment after disappointment...

So much money Blizzard has, and they waste it on WoW stuff. Sure starcraft 2 and diablo 3 are coming out... I just wonder if they'd be out by now if they would take the time to stretch their legs from the money train that is WoW and try other things...

Infact, with how amazing Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo were.. I just really wish they'd leave their 3 trick pony behind and experiment with other titles... I'm pretty sure Blizzard is capable of such greatness, but I wonder if Blizzard themselves just don't feel that sure of themselves that they're reluctant to see the potential that I see..

Whatever their reasoning, it turns out that the steins were actually kind of cool,
I can imagine the reasoning behind the Beer Stiens is because one of the WoW holidays ir BrewFest. One of the rewards for doing quests associated with the holiday are these special BeerStiens that do certain things.

This is one of those insane "Sharper Image" products that needs to come with a $25 "You Have Too Much Money And Not Enough Brains" tax on it.

...they're working on both a new MMOG and a new non-MMOG which, as I recall, are both new IPs.

As in, not one they've done before.

Things that market themselves as a collectors item rarely are. The first run of the original Horde and Alliance maybe. But I don't know, these things look pretty hot... I don't know... maybe....

WoW......

want............

Hmmm... quite outrageous, to say the least. I don't really need a over the top mug because I already have one. Actually it's my dads, and it's a massive Super Bowl (XVI, I think) beer stein. All glass and massive.

Looks good, but there is one problem I can see with that, for that price and the rarity you wouldn't use it for drinking which I consider to be a shame, but looking at the other steins they've got, i'm going to be getting one soon.

So....
Does anyone actually use them for beer? How do you clean them properly, with all those nooks 'n crannnies?
I use a soapy sponge with a wooden spoon to clean out the bottom. a light soapy rinse on the outside is sufficent. To dry I place on their side on a towell such that the water inside can drip out. By the next day they are ready for presentation on my shelf again.

And to the question above, the handle is the same porcelain material as the rest of the mug.

My only disappointment is that I was hoping they would insulate the coldness of the beer better, but the beer warms up nearly as fast as with any other glass.

All things considered, that isn't very expensive at all. Especially considering Blizzard could easily run them for $500+ each and still sell out in no time.

What's its plus to STA?
-20 STA
-20 AGI
-20 INT
+500 SPI

Clearly.
Foolish mortal, you forgot the +20 Critical Strike Rating
+20 Spell Pen *Chuckles*
And the chance on hit to summon a hero of the alliance/horde to sign your face.

Love the dragon one, but they're a wee bit pricey when you add in shipping, and anything going from the US to Canada tends to be held for two months "just because".

Serious, what's with that shit. I could send something just standard lettermail from Vancouver to Tacoma, and have it take eight weeks. But from Vancouver to London Ontario would take only two or three days, or Vancouver to London England in under a week. The fuck?
Thats not a "Just because" thats a "We can so we will HAH" type deal my friend. And I know your pain starcity games wont let me buy booster boxes or freaking decks from here the joiks.

Oh they see it man, its just behind a pile of potential money. Blizzard may be the definition of glutonny and greed but atleast when they make a game they make it gud.

On topic: I dont drink, I like warcraft and I want this. Probably use this for pop and such just to say "Oh yeah I am drinking from this, what of it?"

Not really my thing. I gather collectible shot glasses, myself: much more storage-friendly.

Plus, I have better things to spend $175 on - like giant robot figurines.
Speaking of which, are those figurines previously model kits? $200+ nets you a perfect grade here on my side of the world.
