...are just pure awesome!

I've just recieved my copy of Lego Harry POtter Years 1-4 and I'm absolutely loving it! There are loads of spells and they're fun to use, Hogwarts itself looks amazing and it just has a charm about it that really suits the HP universe. In fact this is probably Lego's best fit yet, considering how fantastic some aspects of Lego games are it really helps to make it feel more magical.

Yeah I know... Lego games are designed for kids, anyone from 7 upwards apparently. But I honestly think they make the best movie license games oddly enough. My first Lego game was Indiana Jones and I am very precious about those films. But despite Lego taking certain parts and blatantly messing with the storyline, I still absolutely love what they do. No other medium could get away with that in my eyes. And considering all the characters are limited to over exagurated movements and the odd grunt here and there, it's amazing how faithful they are to their characters. Just check out Snape and tell me he isn't exactly as you've always pictured him!

So this got me wondering... What other movie lisences do you think would work well in lego?

I played a couple Lego games and they all felt a bit same-y to me.

Although if they made a Lego Predator/Alien, I'd play it.

The lego star wars games were very good because the fantastic scenes andsci fi elements lend themselves to lego fairly well. Whereas the indiana jones lego game was complete shit. Just a boring mess. I just replaced my 360 (4th one RROD) and it came with lego batman for free so i will see how that goes.
