Hey guys,
This is Jamie/Morgan19; I'm the creator of those Halloween figures. Thanks for the original post
nilcypher, I appreciate it! If you picked up the original story on The Brothers Brick, can I venture a guess that you're a LEGO fan yourself?
To everyone else that posted kind words: thank you too! It's always nice to hear that folks outside the LEGO world appreciate this sort of thing as well.

Wow, he must have quite some spare time!
Heh, not especially. Keep in mind I've been putting these Halloween figures together for over a year now; only the last 20 or so were made this year. I just tend to have a bucket of minifigs with me on the couch and put creations together as I think of them, and then Photoshop the final creation whenever I have some spare time; on a good day I can do a completed figure in a bout 15-20 minutes. I've done so many figures, Halloween or otherwise, that it's not
that time-intensive any more.

Truthfully though I sort of feel that if he actually HAS developed those concepts, he might want to consider writing (novels, RPGs, whatever) rather than just making figures. He could probably get some return on his creativity that way.
"Just making figures" is perfectly fine by me, actually-- it's a wonderful creative outlet I've developed that combines my professional talents (design) with a longtime personal hobby (LEGO) in a way I love and others can appreciate. I'm not in this to "get" anything back. It's a lot of fun and I like doing it: I don't need a monetary return to make it worthwhile for me.
If anyone has questions about the figures or anything else, by all means please feel free to ask here or pop over to my account on Flickr [http://www.flickr.com/photos/morgan19/] and send me a message. I'm always happy to discuss with folks.
