I was just browsing around on the EBGames website (thanks to my propaganda-induced friend) and found that they were about to put on sale the next big hit, LEGO Rock Band.

I'm serious. It exists. I'll prove it to you.

This news has kind of been around for a while. Hate to break it to you, but on a gaming website, this is the sort of thing one hears about. Hell, the Escapist had an official article about this months ago.

I'm just curious what kind of music this kiddy version of Rock Band will include. Hannah Montanna and the likes? Dear gods I'm not hoping they're going to poison our children with that, think of the children!!!

It's just like any other Rock Band game with Lego characters and slightly blockier looking notes. My friend owns it and the song selection is pretty good, and it's just as fun as any other rhythm game.

I got the game for free from a clothing store, and I must say it probably has the best "Career Mode" story of any of the games. I also really like the setlist because there is no heavy metal (I HATE heavy metal). They did make some aspects of the game easier, but playing on expert is the same as any other rock band.

I would not have paid 60$ for it (retail price in Canada), but it was worth the 20$ in shirts I had to buy to get it for free.
