A little hostile much? I don't know if you're just upset and just giving a general "fuck you" to the world, or if you're joking, or if by "you" you mean me, but either way, I'm sorry you've got to wait a few more days than Americans. Hopefully it will pass quickly for you.

I'm happy its coming out so I won't have to listen to anymore of this "OMG Mass effect 3 is going to be the best thing ever" honest opinion... I didn't care about 2 never finished it, so very boring and the story just became what I call artificial. Im fine with others liking it, its not the worst game, its just another overrated title that is going to cost more than 60 bucks.
Hopefully they actually stop here instead of making a million more of them.
Sorry to tell you but they do intend to continue the mass effect universe...though whether that is more games or movies or books I don't know...but I understand the annoyance. And I will admit that Mass Effect isn't as perfect as everyone likes to think, it does get overpraised, but I love it and I always will.
I am excited for this game and I am not even going to be playing it right away. I still need to beat the first one, but I can not wait for my brother to get it and watch him play through most of it.
Well my luck just turned on me when I received a mail today that the site I preordered the Collector's Edition from didn't receive any of those editions and since everywhere else it's sold out so I'm in a bit of a bind.
All the games that I purchased have been from the retailer(I like to have the boxes for memory sake)and now I see no other alterative than to buy it digitally from Origin.
Does anyone know how will I buy the DLC "From Ashes" from Origin on launch day? Will the game be unavailable to download 'till it's supposed release? (aka 9th March since I'm from EU).
I checked a Stream out last night where one of the Space edition guys was doing a Lets Play.
Some interesting tid-bits for anyone interested:
There are only Paragon and Renegade options in conversation now, that wasn't just a demo issue.
For about....50-60% of the game, there are 4 squadmates (Liara, Garrus, James and *spoiler*. DLC not included).
For anyone familiar with shooters, I recommend Insanity for a decent challenge.
A few missions seemed...odd. Shepard landing in labs and just fighting some Cerberus troops in a 5 minute survival mode before going back to the ship, like in the multiplayer mode.
No real story or plot reason, just to give your gun a warm up it seemed.
Tali fans are gonna get mad. (Major spoilers...)
She kills herself if you mess up the Quarian/Geth mission
You don't see her face (Shep gets a picture of her face covered by lens flare)
If you romanced her, Shepard still thinks of Liara during a flashback sequence (Bioware just left the ME2 romances out, might just be fixed in a quick patch).
If you remember Zaeed and Kasumi from ME2, EVERYONE now has conversations like them, exept for 2 plot conversations. So no more dialogue wheel, just automated responses from Shepard every so often.
You can spam the button and break the sound clips which was kind of amusing.
Can't remember much else without giving away any plot.
Overall: Combat looks better, RPG elements weaker, writing is bad during the main plot (bad tough guy one liners and Shepard acts like a brick), side conversations are still golden but there are way less due to the new dialogue system.
Edit: I just saw the other post there and it reminded me: The music is great on the whole. Lots of orchestral, but also alot of ME1 style synthetic, which was great to hear again.
Also the ending song may make you happy or angry depending on taste:
It's Muse.
Two other things:
The Kid. Bioware has CLEARLY been watching the Dead Island trailer (or rather, the money men saw what a splash it made). They really try pull your heart strings with dead children, which seemed kind of hamfisted and crude...but A+ for effort and presentation.
Shepard has a reoccring nightmare where you fail to save the child over and over in a forest. Seems odd that the kid scarred him so much, meanwhile his Love interest could be dead, or if he was the Sole Survivor, or anyone from ME2, or his Mum if your a Spacer, or hell...even HIS OWN DEATH which he got over damn quick (this does get mentioned at least and the issue is dealt with nicely).
The Ending. Without spoilers, and without going into whether you think they're cheap or not...Presentation: 10/10.
It's integrated into gameplay and it's not just picking it from a dialogue menu.
I'll tip my hat to Bioware for that one, other flaws aside.

You're deathly ill and your only cure is sitting in front of the computer, impatiently waiting, and then several hours of video game play!....Or pretend your cleaning. "What's that? Go out? No I'm sorry I'm battling with my laundry."
Just found that the soundtrack has found its way onto Youtube already so I'm giving that a listen (it has a nice mix of synthetic and orchestral if anyone was curious - basically an amalgamations of the first two games' soundtracks).
Doesn't come out till Thursday here anyway, though I completely expect EB games to just release it tomorrow anyway like they do with a lot of major releases. It's funny, I could pick out so many flaws in the demo alone, and yet this is still the most excited I've been for a game in like 5 years.
Just finished my perfect playthrough last night (ME 1&2 100%) and I'll be picking it up at midnight. Unfortunately I won't get to play very long as I need to get up for work in the morning XP

Ahhhhh. heh fair enough, don't wanna be making a bad impression in the new workspace. Well then, have fun waiting until Tuesday afternoon/evening, sucka!!!!!
Sorry, I'm too pumped for this game for the ending to be anything but fantastic no matter what happens in it. Though if it's so horrible that it manages to break my bias, I won't be stocking up on Dixie Cups, I'll be stocking up on pitchforks and torches.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE no one post any BIG spoilers We only get ME3 in the U.K on Friday the 9th.
As for people discrediting threads because they have been used before once or twice, get a life if you don't like something and its not hurting you stay away from it.
As for ME3 cant wait looks to be more impressive than all previous sci fi's. A definite rival for star wars in my opinion.
