Lesser known Rap artists

Afternoon Forums, I've noticed over the years that, as with most music, a lot of popular stuff is not very good. There are absolutely deserving people of fame such as Notorious B.I.G., Nas, and Kendrick Lamar, but then we also have people like Iggy Azelia, and the Ying Yang Twins(shudder).

Anyway, I am relatively new and/or inexperienced when it come to rap and have only heard a few of the major people--most of them being crap. One day my friend introduced me to Immortal Technique, who I had previously never heard of. He is a true artist and story teller.

There is also a local Boston guy who I've started following who is damn good and has a certain Je ne c'est quoi.

I think I did that right. Music starts around 1:50

His name is Riggz Two Nice and he too has some serious talent.
My question to the people of this site is what are some local or not as well known rappers that either deserve more attention, or that you think are good. I want to expand my tastes. Thanks.

Can you list some of the people you've heard of before or stuff you like? It'd make it easier to recommend stuff that way

Sure. As I said I like Notorious B.I.G. for his flow, Riggz Two nice has a great sound, And Immortal Technique is an amazing Story teller. I am very inexperienced with rap though hence why I put the question. Even if you just recommend me stuff that you like, I'd be happy to check the stuff out.

You should really check out Death Grips as well, even though they aren't really traditional rap.

Dalek and Techno Animal. Similar stuff to Death Grips, but way better. Why aren't they in a Battlefield game, dammit!

EDIT: Also, quite fond of Action Bronson.

How lesser known do you have to be? Does Hopsin count? He can be hit or miss, but he's got some stunning tracks. I'm also a fan of Stevie Stone, Immortal Technique, and Snow Tha Product. None of these folks are particularly obscure, mind.

Also, Tech N9ne, though he used to be pretty well known. Not really sure how well known he is now. Like, when people started talking about him again, I was like "he's still around?"
