Let Atlus Eat Cake to Celebrate Catherine's 1st Week Sales Numbers

Haven't picked it up yet but its at the top of my list at the moment...I would actually buy a Ps3 if they released Persona 5 exclusively on it...I suppose that's saying something. At any rate, excellent job guys you deserved the sales for the great work you do.

That's great for them, Atlus is a great dev and deserve som recognition, finally! It's just too bad Persona never did this good, I liked that a whole lot more.

They need to market Persona games better. Much better. I'd never heard of the series until fairly recently, and I keep up with gaming news pretty well. They marketed Catherine well and it's worked out.

I think Atlus is just a bit too timid about trusting in the Western market. Hopefully, this will help change that.

Where are all these sales COMING FROM? I mean, yeah, Catherines a good game, and it seems like everyone on the internet has it, but I Haven't heard from anyone I know IRL getting it, and it seems like a niche product. Guess it doesn't help that i'm 16... Either way, my birthday's around the corner and this is pretty high on my list, Course I'll have one heck of a time explaining to my mom that it's not porn (and I suppose having a sister named Katherine won't make things awkward at all).

Yep, that's definitely the reason. Hopefully persona 5 will learn from this.

A group that I'm more than happy to support. Persona 3 FES is my favorite game ever ever-ever.

With that said, Atlus games are not for everyone. They're bound to get a lot of heat outside its intended audience, and it'll probably become more apparent as they get bigger. I dunno.

Cake is always a good thing, really happy for atlus, they've always made great games. I just wish my copy would arrive already.

Yay, Atlus. These guys have become my new favorite game company ever since Capcom shot themselves in the foot.
