Let down sequels ?

what in your opinion is the biggest letdown sequel and why ?
for me its dragon age 2 due to the fact the guards suck at there jobs because bandits para trope of buildings to try and rob you
fable 3 and force unleashed 2 as well

I'm going with Gears 3 and Resistance 3. Both were amazingly fun games to play, but the storylines...man, I was utterly crushed. Resistance's was simply bad at building off of the lore and hints from the first two games--and the ending was a literal, 'Wait, that's it?' moment--and Gears 3 basically threw everything out the window. It did it with flair and awesome explosions hoping I wouldn't notice, but I did. So many questions that were either lazily answered or brushed under the rug. It's even more painful because I read the books and they all made it seem like everything was building to this huge, dark secret that shatter the way everyone thinks about everything. Nope.

Mercenaries 2. So much potential. And I still like it. But nothing at all like the first. The magic was gone.
