Letdowns and Disappointments

Have you ever gotten excited about something, then you are instantly let down when it actually happens? That has just happened to me. I have sat down and watched "Unbeatable Banzuke" on G4TV for fifteen minutes so that I can watch one of my favorite B-Movies: Red Dawn. My TV told me the show would come on at 10:00, but as soon as 10:00 came, another episode of "Unbeatable Banzuke" just came on, and when I open the TV menu it says Red Dawn is playing. I don't even like "Unbeatable Banzuke", as a matter of fact, it sucks just typing it.

So, how about you, Escapists: when was the last time you were let down?

When the power in my house was gone and the local electric company said they were fixing it.

I was let down for three days strait.

Boy did last weekend sucked.

One word: Haze.

Comming from Free Radical (creator of Time Splitters 2, my most favourite game EVER), I thought it would be absolutely fantastic... I think most people did.

Instead, it was a mediocre game, casuing FR to go bankrupt and put the fate of the Time Splitters franchise into question.

Worst. Disappointment. Evar.

Yeah, I had high hopes for that one after the demo, then it turned around halfway through and turned into a sub-par RTS.

Still, it was fun to drive around with Megadeth on.

Fable 2 multiplayer.

Here I am, enjoying the game, building up my character. My brother decides it's time to try out the Multiplayer.

5 seconds in I am filled with hate and sadness.

Rest of the game was pretty good though.

Really disappointed when I finally played Ocarina of Time.

Wasn't let down by Brutal Legend, as I knew what I was getting into when I bought it, and bought it anyway.

My last letdown was District 9.

Apparently this was an extremely inteligent sci-fi movie, because it's set in Johannesburg.
In the end it was only slightly better than Avatar and with more gore.
